Our volunteer Board meets monthly, either by teleconference or in person at the County Administration building in downtown St. George. The group represents a wide-variety of geographic locales as well as a diversity of artistic disciplines. The meetings are open to the public; please call ahead to confirm details.

DUTIES OF COUNCIL MEMBERS:
- Each council member will be willing to forward the arts in Washington County through their duties, skills and good attitude.
- Each council member will possess business skills or have a background in an arts discipline.
Council members will attend monthly meetings.
An executive committee, if necessary, will meet as needed.
- Council members will try to attend their designated city council meeting on a quarterly basis, but AT LEAST once a year, to report the status of the WCA and maintain good relationships with the Mayor and City Council.
Each community will be asked to give a monetary donation according to a percentage of their municipal population. Council members will suggest the donation be budgeted, and be responsible for receiving that donation.
- Council members will be assigned to a committee and are expected to take on assignments in between meetings, with reports due monthly on their assignments.
Each council member will help WCAC pursue the CARE tax (Cultural Arts & Recreational Enhancement) by participating in data and signature collection, marketing efforts and public meetings.

- PROGRAMS: Professional Development Workshops, other Special Projects
- COMMUNICATIONS/OUTREACH: Distribution, Marketing Efforts, Web/Social Media
- ORGANIZATIONAL: Administration, Finance, Grants, Minutes
